The Fundiful strategy is simple; we operate on faith and rely on the generosity of others to meet our needs, just like those faith-based organizations that we serve. If God is faithful to provide for your needs as you serve others, then He will be faithful to supply our needs as we serve you. Unlike most giving platforms that tax every donation with a "plaform fee" of 5% or more, we simply ask for help in the form of a completely optional additional donation. It is just like leaving a tip for good service at the diner.
We provide organizations access to Fundiful, our crowdfunding platform, where they can use industry best practices to raise funds. When a donor gives to a campaign on Fundiful, they are given the opportunity to make a donation to Fundiful as well to help offset the plaform costs. We make it very obvious that this is an additional donation, and it is completely voluntary. In this way a donor can be assured that their entire donation amount is going to meet intended needs and not paying for the fundraising platform. The donations are completely transparent; online reporting shows exactly how much their donors have given to an organizations campaigns and how much was given to help Fundiful.
There are services for which Fundiful will charge a fee because there are direct costs involved. For instance, if an organization needs help setting up their Fundiful site or actively managing their campaigns, we may charge for those services. These charges will be tied directly to the service that is provided, and not to the volume of transactions that are being processed for a Fundiful customer.
Fundiful.com is designed so that organizations can effectively and efficiently connect people to the specific needs of their organization. It utilizes crowdfunding concepts to connect with their own "crowd". Fundiful provides a private label platform. That means each organization can create a custom giving site with their own logos, images, titles, and frequently asked questions. It is fundraising web site that connects with their crowd using their language. Visitors to an organization‘s Fundiful site will see only campaigns that organization has created, approved and manages. Their giving opportunities will not get lost in the shuffle on a site with thousands of others that may or may not share their values.
Donations are sent directly to your bank account in batches that are released either daily or weekly (your option). For larger organizations doing $10,000 monthly in donations we also offer the option to use your own merchant account via a Stripe or Authorize.net gateway.
